Are the boats going out?
For each day we show an estimate based on waves and wind gusts: calm, choppy or rough sea. It is only a guide: the final decision always belongs to the skipper, who knows the boat and the island's waters.
With northerly winds the south coast, home to Rabbit Beach and the most famous coves, stays sheltered.
Weather and marine data come from Open-Meteo, exchange rates from the European Central Bank. The page is available in six languages: open weather and sea.
